A Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) informou nesta sexta-feira (29) que a bandeira tarifária será verde no mês de janeiro, o que significa que não haverá cobrança extra nas contas de luz.
“O acionamento dessa cor indica condições favoráveis de geração hidrelétrica no Sistema Interligado Nacional. Mesmo com a bandeira verde é importante manter as ações relacionadas ao uso consciente e combate ao desperdício de energia elétrica”, informou a Aneel em nota.
Nos últimos meses de 2017, devido ao baixo nível dos reservatórios das principais hidrelétricas do país e à falta de chuvas, a bandeira tarifária aplicou taxa adicional nas contas de luz. Isso ocorre para arrecadar recursos necessários para cubrir custos extras com a produção de energia mais cara, gerada por termelétricas.
Em dezembro, vigorou a bandeira tarifária vermelha em patamar 1 , o que representa cobrança extra nas contas de luz de R$ 3 a cada 100 kWh (quilowatts-hora) consumidos. Em novembro, a bandeira ficou na cor vermelha patamar 2, a mais alta da escala criada pela agência para sinalizar o custo real da energia gerada. Na ocasião, a cobrança adicional para cada 100 kWh consumidos foi de R$ 5.
A mudança da baneira para verde agora significa, portanto, que as chuvas das últimas semanas ajudaram na recuperação dos reservatórios das hidrelétricas e que há expectativa de que essa melhora continue nos próximos meses.
